ScanCDE
Actual vs forecast, for information delivery

Be certain that actual matches forecast.

ScanCDE gives you independent, evidenced assurance that every document your delivery partners forecast is in the CDE at the status it should have reached: actual against forecast, while there is still time to act.

Independent of the people being assessed. Read-only: it never touches your files.

Actual against forecast, document by document: read from the systems you already use, checked against the plan, and reported as on plan, behind, or missing.

Works with the CDE you already use

Another system? We add connections on request. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners; ScanCDE is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with them.

A spot check is not assurance. Someone opens the register and the CDE side by side, finds out late, samples a few, and gives you their word.

You find out at the gateway

Gaps surface at the review, when they cost the most to fix and the least can be done about them.

You cannot prove it

A manual check leaves no dated evidence to put in front of a client, an asset owner or an auditor.

You are relying on trust

Partners mark their own homework, and nobody independent has looked at every document.

How the assurance is built

Independent. Complete. Evidenced.

Nothing is moved or copied. ScanCDE reads where your files already are.

1

Independent

A read-only connection to your CDE. It checks; it never changes anything, and it stands apart from the people being assessed.

2

Complete

Every forecast document, every time: matched by its number and judged against its planned steps and dates. The forecast says where it should be today; the actual says where it is.

3

Evidenced

A dated result you can defend: what is on plan, what is behind, what is missing, with a record of every change to the plan and who made it.

What you can stand behind

Answers you can put in front of a client.

A readiness answer you can defend.

Documents climb a ladder of statuses on dates the plan sets. For any gateway, or for today, you can say what should have been delivered by then and what was, step by step and company by company.

  • Understands your own order of statuses: S3, then S5, then A1 and beyond
  • Late and missing shown plainly, not buried in an average
  • Re-judge the same scan as at any gateway, without scanning again

Evidence, not opinion.

One line per forecast document: what the register forecast, what the CDE actually holds, and where they differ. Export it for a gateway review or a client, in your own colours and logo.

  • Matched, behind plan, not found, naming problems, duplicates
  • Works across more than one CDE at once
  • Every change to a partner's register records who and when
Built to be trusted

Designed so the answer is never in doubt.

From one project to a programme

One place to see where every project stands against its next gateway, and to drill into a single document. Nobody has to ask for the numbers.

No false alarms, no false comfort

If a scan cannot read everything, it keeps the last complete result and says so. Nothing is reported missing because a system was unreachable.

Partners answer for their own

Delivery partners keep their register in one controlled place and see only their own company's documents. The server enforces it, not just the screen.

A record of every change

Each row of a register has its own history: what changed, who changed it, and when. Open it with a right-click.

Judge it as at any gateway

Re-run the same scan against Gateway 1, Gateway 2 or today, without scanning again.

Always current

Scans run on a schedule you set, so the picture is ready before anyone asks.

Reports in your own colours

Excel and PDF exports carry your logo and brand colours, ready for a gateway pack, a client meeting or an auditor, with the same figures you see on screen.

Who it is for

For the people who have to be sure.

Asset owners and clients

Assurance that information was delivered as agreed, with evidence to show for it.

Information managers

Stop compiling spreadsheets. Know where every document stands, and chase with evidence.

Project and programme managers

A readiness view before each gateway, with no one to ask for it. Read-only access, nothing to break.

The difference

What changes when assurance is built in.

Trust

Assurance only counts if it can be trusted.

ScanCDE is read-only and independent, it keeps an audit trail, and it tells you when it could not see everything. Your data stays yours.

  • It reads file names, folders, statuses, dates and links. It does not copy your drawings or models
  • One installation per client: your own server and database, hosted by us or by you
  • Sign in with a password and two-step verification, or Microsoft 365; roles enforced on the server
  • Nothing leaves the installation unless you switch on the optional AI assistant

Read the security summary.

Licensing in one line

An annual licence for the number of active projects you use. Unlimited users. If a licence ever lapses, ScanCDE becomes read-only, never locked: you can always read and export your data.

Questions

What people ask first.

Does it change or move our files?

No. The connection is read-only. ScanCDE reads file names, folders, statuses, dates, uploader names and a link back to the file. It does not copy drawings or models, and it cannot edit or delete anything in your CDE.

Which systems does it work with?

The CDE you already use: Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint, M-Files, Procore, Aconex, Dalux, Asite and others. If yours is not on the list, tell us and we add it on request. Projects can sit in more than one system at once.

Where does it run?

One installation per client, with its own server and database. We can host it for you, or you can run it on your own infrastructure. Your data is never mixed with another client's.

What does it cost?

An annual licence for the number of active projects you use, with unlimited users. We will give you a price for your portfolio on a short call. If a licence lapses, the product turns read-only; it never locks you out of your own data.

Do we have to connect every project?

No. Start with two or three, see what it finds, then add more. A project counts as active when it has been scanned recently.

What if a scan cannot read everything?

It says so, and it keeps the last complete result. It never reports a document as missing because a system was slow or unreachable. That is the difference between a tool you can trust and one that cries wolf.

Can you complete our security questionnaire?

Yes. Send it to us and we will answer it in full, and your IT team can speak to ours about how ScanCDE is built, hosted and backed up. There is a security summary to start from.

See where your own projects stand.

We set up a trial installation for you, connect two or three of your projects read-only, and run the first scan with you. You see the picture before you commit to anything. At the end, we delete your data or talk about a licence.

Tell us a little about you

What would you like?

We use what you send only to reply and to arrange what you asked for. We send you one confirmation email, and nothing else unless you ask. See the privacy statement. If the form does not work, write to support@scancde.com.
